Sea trout fishing in Estonia is a very attractive activity, as it usually happens in nature spots with magnificent beauty. I am happy to invite you to places in nature where you most likely haven’t been before.
I myself have been fishing all my life catching all kinds of fish. Sea trout is my specialty and I have been passionately fishing it almost 25 years. I am happy to share with you all the necessary skills for successful sea trout fishing in the beautiful Estonian nature. Welcome!

Where?
All fishermen have their secret spots ;)! We will practice sea trout fishing walking by the seashore in the water, looking for special rocky areas and hidden bays.
I also organise fishing tours to Norway. The nature there is powerful and there are very good rivers for trout!
To whom is it?
I can provide both personal and group guiding, covering everything from nature observation and fish behaviour to equipment, locations, and insider tips. I have hosted guiding enthusiasts from Estonia, Finland, Norway, the USA, and the UK. The specifics of the fishing also change according to the season.
Whether you are a complete beginner, someone looking to sharpen your skills, or someone who has spent enough time searching for fish without results — this is for you. This service is also perfect as an experience gift (for birthdays) or as a getaway for small corporate teams.
Investment
Specific prices will be agreed upon depending on the length of the day. Transport is usually provided by the client. If needed, I can also arrange extra equipment. It all depends on how many of us are hunting for ‘reds’ (salmonids).
Norway
Salmon rivers of Norway, 2027
A week on Norwegian salmon rivers with spinning and fly rods — powerful silver salmon and sea trout and stunning nature. Travel by car through Finland, camping by the river. My personal records: sea trout 13.4 kg and salmon 15 kg. For experienced anglers.

What fishing clients say
I have fished a weekend on Saaremaa and made a quick trip near Tallinn with Madis. He has excellent local knowledge and up-to-date information on what the sea trout are doing in Estonian waters. A reliable and truly pleasant guy!
One thought kept nagging me: you have to fish where and when the people who actually catch fish are fishing — and for that I have to thank Madis. One day of fishing together started to put the puzzle together and shortened my way to a fish, and what a fish it was! In the autumn the lesson will be repeated!
As a beginner, I liked his attitude and the way he explains things. He has plenty of experience and knowledge in this field, and I should have recorded it all, because there is so much interesting and useful information to take in. I was very pleased, I wish Madis all the best and will join him again whenever I can.
We were more than happy with the training. We have been out hunting sea trout many times since, and together we have caught more fish and had more contacts than in our whole previous lives! Now we follow the winds, the currents, the temperature and the seabed closely — our world has expanded considerably.
Come along!
As the saying goes: roach fishing is primary school, pike fishing is high school, trout fishing is university. Come along and become skilled at catching sea trout — and learn the spots where the fish bite, or how to make them bite. Send me a message about what you have in mind and I will get back to you shortly.
